Carlos R. V. Kiffer MD PhD
Infectious Disease specialist, PhD from the University of São Paulo Medical School and associate professor of infectious diseases and public health at the Emílio Ribas Institute. One of the creators and coordinators of the EUREQA Project (www.dpi.inpe.br/eureqa) and associate researcher at the Special Laboratory for Clinical Microbiology at the Federal University of São Paulo.
Vast experience in consulting on pharmaceutical R&D projects in diverse areas, specialized in antimicrobial, oncological and innovative drugs. Former member of the advisory group on antimicrobials and clinical microbiology and former manager of the clinical trials unit at Fleury Medicine & Health. Research areas include epidemiology and control of bacterial infections, antimicrobial use and resistance, and mathematical modeling (pharmacodynamics and geoprocessing).
Author or co-author of more than 20 peer-reviewed papers and 5 books or book chapters. Member of the editorial board of many national and international journals, participating in innumerous conferences and meetings regionally and abroad.
Gustavo A. Campana MD
Specialized in Clinical Pathology / Laboratory Medicine at the University of São Paulo Medical School. Member of the Brazilian Society of Clinical Pathology / Laboratory Medicine.
Broad experience in large laboratory management and operations, and responsible for diverse areas of management and techniques, in addition to providing medical advisory services in clinical pathology and correlation of laboratory and clinical data. Former technical manager of Campana Clinical Pathology Center and NKB Diagnostics (Fleury group).
Carmen Paz Oplustil MSc
BS and MS in microbiology from the University of São Paulo. Vast experience in R&D project management in research labs and in a private company (Fleury), with years of experience in technical and administrative management of companies like Fleury Medicine & Health and NKB Diagnostics (Fleury group). Former director of NKB Diagnostics for five southern Brazilian states.
Author or co-author of many peer-reviewed scientific papers and abstracts in national and international conferences. Invited speaker for innumerous courses and lectures at specialized national conferences. Author of two books.
Rodrigo Spricigo MSc
PharmD and MS in pharmaceutical technology from the University of São Paulo. Specialization in project management from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV-EAESP).
Project manager for the innovation area at Eurofarma Laboratories for 5 years, focusing on strategic design, pre-clinical and clinical development of innovative pharmaceuticals, and responsible for national and international regulatory affairs related to the release of new products.
Vast experience in public-private partnerships, acting as technical and administrative interface for undertakings bringing together private enterprise and academic institutions on more than 10 projects.
Roberto Góis
BSc in Computer Science by Universidade Paulista (São Paulo), specialized in Project Management by Fundação Vanzolini, and MBA in Finance at Insper| Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa São Paulo.
Acquired wide experience in Information Technology and Business, especially in complex projects for major national and multinational corporations such as Atento, Grupo Fleury, Santander, Itaú Unibanco, and JP Morgan Chase.
At Grupo Fleury (www.fleury.com.br) he has actively participated in bringing about inter-laboratory project integration, having idealized and implemented new technology tools for allowing multisite and multichannel connections.
At Atento – Telefonica Group (www.atento.com.br) he was co-responsible for numerous new media and customer service projects.
He has also collaborated in the EUREQA Project (www.dpi.inpe.br /eureqa), an academic project for antibiotics and population analysis, being co-responsible for structuring a common spatial-temporal database between Federal University of Sao Paulo (UNIFESP), National Institute for Space Research (INPE), Grupo Fleury, and Taubaté University.
